I’ve just seen a post on Facebook that asked the question “What movie has the best song?”
Yes ill admit it’s clickbait, 1600+ people had responded as the page was music based, seemed busy and inoffensive or to put it another way, not going to steal you life and soul, otherwise known as entire social footprint.
I would like to say it got me thinking but it didn’t, the obvious answer sprang to mind in seconds. Now I’m a big soundtrack geek, some of my choices are popular i’m sure and others less so. Three, actually four, no five, maybe six? soundtracks that spring to mind, not just a big song from a film but actual soundtracks that define an entire movie. For me ‘Pump up the Volume‘.
This is the soundtrack that introduced me to bands such as The Pixies, Soundgarden and Sonic Youth, bands I still listen to weekly.
