I do not have any big insights into there announcement, thats what the proper music press are for. I’m just a lifelong fan right from the beginning (which I have mentioned here in previous posts) so thought I would write a quick blog posts to share my joy and spread the word to anyone who reads this.
Sharing the article from the NME, a number of other feeds also carry the story, the headline reads: The Farm announce first album in 30 years ‘Let The Music Take Control’ with euphoric single ‘Forever & Ever’.
Details on the site state a release date of May 2 2025 so a little time to wait, but we have a new single ‘Forever & Ever’. Exactly what you would expect and want from a new release, that classic Farm sound resonating through every instrument and Peter Hooton’s unmistakeable vocals.
The NME is right with the word ‘euphoric’, it’s uplifting, it’s 2 minutes 54 seconds of positivity. This will certainly go down well at live shows for both the Farm faithful and anyone else who is lucky enough to attend. I’ve seen them enough times over the years to know that and can already see the audience singing along. Now waiting with baited breath for tour dates to be announced.
