This was/is the fourth studio album by Modest Mouse, originally released on the 6th of April back in 2004. To celebrate this, the band is releasing and you can pre-order a 20th Anniversary digital expanded edition of the album. The cover is awesome.

This anniversary edition of Good News for People Who Love Bad News includes remixes from Poolside, Justin Raisen, MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden, and others acts, It also comes with a new booklet, eight pages long.
This, the bands fourth album, was certified Platinum, helped by two of its hits “Float On” and “Ocean Breathes Salty”. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album that year, and “Float On” was nominated for Best Rock Song.
From a personal space, I discovered this band years ago as Johnny Marr, who I like many others I am a big fan of going back to The Smiths. He joined Modest Mouse from 2006.
