No idea what to expect here from the second support of the night. The stage was cleared from the previous support act, a guitar band, a guitarist walked on stage followed by the folding stands and three boards full of from what I could see equalisers? samplers? There was definitely a MacBook front and centre and a lot of wires.
A four piece from Ireland, three decks of tech and a guitar! Instantly added to my streaming lists! As a long time fan of bands like Meat Beat Manifesto, this was good hard industrial soundscapes with a Blade Runner vibe at times, one member started adding vocals to a track, an augmented vocal that sat perfectly, the next track, Defacer had a sudden crazy vocal almost punk vibes.
This band at a festival in a big tent in a 2am slot could raise the roof, if tents had roofs. Awesome!
