You need to live under a musical rock, or would that be a non-musical rock? To not know who Wet Leg are? Hailing not far from me on the Isle of Wight, which may be the reason for more coverage here, but I doubt it, they deserve the attention.
Wet Leg’s debut single was “Chaise Longue” was everywhere when it was released back on the 15 June 2021. Their second single from the band was called “Wet Dream”, released on 28 September 2021 and I did read that Variety stated, “It’s rare that a new group releases two songs and they’re both great”. I would hope all great and future great bands release two great songs, or three or four. I would argue the headliner from this gig have managed a few more than that.
So, Wet Leg! They were awesome, like Shame who were on before they didn’t shrink in the stage, they owned it!

Wet Leg are an Indie Rock group, or so they are classified online. I’d say it was fair, id also say they are a Post-Punk band with a Lollipop, just a great sound and great to watch, on one hand you have Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, the founding members, captivating the audience centre stage and on the big screens. On the other hand they have surrounded themselves with eclectic musicians from a visual POV that just raise the performance higher. My only regret is that it has taken me until now to see them live!
