The only thing missing was the hair! I can’t talk. With original signer Stephen Holt up front supported by Clint Boon on backing vocals, you know you’re in for a good night.
Founding member and guitarist Graham Lambert stood next to Oscar Boom, yes, son of Clint on Bass and featured drumming from Kev Clark, at one point in the short set allowed a great solo that would make any military guard drummers envious. A quick 30 minute support slot didn’t diminish the impact this band has, and had last night.
A wanting crowd pointing and singing along myself included. She Comes in the Fall, This is how it feels and Saturn 5 getting the biggest response but that’s expected. A true crowd pleaser with a hit of nostalgia. The last gig I saw at the O2 Bournemouth was Noel Gallagher, the irony was not lost on me.
