What can I say or write here? Dave Grohl stated at the beginning that he had us for three full hours and he was going to beat us with music. That sums up the night better than I could. He DID, They DID!

I first got to see the Foo Fighters back in 2008 at the big Wembley Stadium concerts and have not missed a tour since, even the cancelled leg one when yes I was in London, shame they were not.
Do they just keep getting better or do they just give so much it feels that way every time? There is a format, songs are extended, Dave will talk / banter sporadically throughout and singing along is expected, and wanted, it’s a Foo Fighters show!
We got here about an hour before the doors opened and London Stadium was buzzing outside. I don’t know if it was due to the large queues for the merch stands, or due to the bars and restaurants as we passed through Westfield still being rammed or whether it was due to England vs Denmark at the Euros being on at 5pm? The queue to get in at 3pm was easy and before we knew it we were on the pitch, on the front rail behind the ‘Front Pit’. I then saw a guy right over to the left handing out extra ‘Front Pit’ bands and we were in there! The view was awesome! We were about a third of the way from the front in the pit and off to the left. The band were right there! Right in front of us!
The three hours was nothing short of Epic!
The band played, then just Dave played, then there was an acoustic moment, then the band again, they kept it moving and mixed things up, band member solos, add in some Black Sabbath, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, some Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, The Beatles, an accordion, Violet Grohl, and Shane Hawkins on drums for a song and you get it!
‘IT’ is whatever those in attendance took with them. For me it is just another brilliant, emotional Foos performance in the bag, now I need another!
