Another night of metal and Hardcore with friends, Dead Man’s Pistol taking the headline slot supported first by My Black Poison, Badmouth and Throwing Distance.
All four bands brought their own sound and each set the bar high, mosh pits ensued and ears were left ringing from the upbeat guttural onslaught. (Take a look at our Tik Tok for clips)
It’s easy to say about a lot of bands but on this night the level of musical talent was blisteringly apparent from a slew of musicians who obviously live and breathe it.

Starting with Punk/Alt Rock from My Black Poison, setting their stall out from the outset. This was the opening band but you would not have known from the crowds reaction, an early mosh pits ensued, a local band with a good following.

Badmouth brought their own Alt Rock sound with a hint of QOTSA next, great sound, great musicianship a tight unit and again a great crowd reaction. Hints of funk in their as well, a great set.

Throwing Distance delivered a great Post-Hardcore set, loud and proud to the delight of the audience. Another local band including a member of Dead Man’s Pistol on Guitar.

Dead Man’s Pistol with their own upbeat crowd pleasing Metal on last, ripping through their set with riffs and smiles, lead singer Stig with the biggest smiles of the night. Audience participation and mosh pits a plenty. Great sound and great fun as always. They are also now on Spotify, well almost, it’s processing so here is the pre-save link, click image below.
