Ruled by Raptors + Under the Sky + Dead Mans Pistol

Headed up to The Railway inn last night in Winchester, a great independent music venue. It was a rescheduled night from last year which felt long overdue as the singer in the first band is friend and that delayed a rest catch-up.
First up was ‘Dead Man’s Pistol, a local metal band with an updated lineup since the last time we’ve crossed paths. Still only a couple of years at the most into their journey and sounding better than ever! The new lineup a definite improvement and Stig looking comfortable on stage. They hammered through approximately 45 minutes with original music and a bit of audience participation.
Next was Under the Sky, another local-ish metal band and as it turns out only their second gig, with that in mind they put on a great show.

A Northumberland based band doing a selection of Southern venues. A great bunch of guys who were well up for a bit of banter and on stage top notch musicians who put on a fantastic show! Some great humour plus a few serious moments between some seriousl songs, well worth seeing if you get the chance.
Just beware of flying base players!
